The LINE Project in NEOM

NEOM awarded drill and blast tunneling contracts for work on the region’s infrastructure, which is considered one of the world’s largest transportation and utility infrastructure projects, and it is an essential element in ensuring NEOM continues to meet its development schedule.

The tunnels work will provide over 28 kilometers in length and provide separate tunnels for high-speed and freight rail services – making the movement of people and goods faster, safer, and easier.

This is part of the The Line Project, a linear smart city under, which is designed to have no cars, streets or carbon emissions. The170-kilometre-long (110 mi) & 500 meter high city is part of Saudi Vision 2030 project, the city's plans anticipate a population of 9 million.

Our project scope includes design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of earthing system for service, freight and passenger transportation tunnels that will be the backbone of the Line city, connecting it with Oxagon port. Our work also includes inter-connectivity, bonding and resistivity test for soil at multiple locations to meet IEEE 81& EN 50522 standards with supply & installation of earthing terminal, plate (with all accessories), various types of earthing bare copper conductors in accordance with customer design.
